travel tuesday: favorite travel photo link-up

Every Tuesday I love checking out the many travelers who link-up at Bonnie Rose's A Compass Rose, and today it was a fun challenge to find a favorite photo to prompt a post. It was hard to choose between my France photos, but here is one of my favorites right now

This photo was taken on our first day in Nice, riding along the Promenade des Anglais. It was an amazing day. My sister and I had a fun, but very busy week in Paris and we were so psyched to relax in the Cote d'Azur for three days! We did not expect, however, to be greeted with such sunny skies and warm weather! And by warm weather I mean we were sweating by the time we arrived to our adorable AirBnb apartment rental! We soon changed into something more French Riviera-ish and set out to explore a bit of this beautiful coastal city. We rented the VeloBleu bikes that were sporadically placed on the Promenade des Anglais (the famous Nice boardwalk) and rode our way across to the Nice Port to see the sailboats. We ended the evening by grabbing baguettes, cheese, grapes, and a few other yummy snacks and had a picnic on one of the benches on the Promenade. It was a perfect way to start our last leg of our vacation!
