Book Review of Adult Coloring Book, Whatever Is Lovely

Whatever Is Lovely: A Coloring Book For Reflection And Worship
Published by WaterBrook Press

Adult coloring books have become a big thing recently, so when this coloring book became available, I picked it up right away. I love the beautiful artwork and typography/calligraphy on each page. Each page is different and there are so many intricate details, I could easily spend an hour coloring.

WaterPress did an awesome job of compiling Bible verses and verses from well-known hymns and authors. It is a perfect way to relax after a long day, de-stressing while coloring a variety of different scenes.

This coloring book can be a great addition to my devotional time. There is even a link to the "Whatever Is Lovely" playlist to accompany your coloring and usher in a time of devotion and rest from the busyness.

If you are new to the idea of coloring as an adult, I recently read a great article on adult coloring (see it HERE) that has seven benefits of coloring, including improved concentration, unearthing untapped creativity, improving motor skills and hand-eye coordination, and decreasing stress.

Disclosure: I received a copy of this book for free through Blogging for Books in exchange for this review. All opinions expressed are my own.

    1. Yay! Let me know how you like it! I am not always thrilled about the books available through Blogging for Book, but they have a very wide variety (including coloring and other art books, cookbooks, etc). I like BookLookBloggers.com too. They tend to have more Christian books available.
