it's beginning to look a lot like christmas // the circle link-up

Today I am linking up with The Circle for December's challenge.
Here are some snippets of my apartment all decked out in Christmas cheer. I didn't do as much DIY as I hoped because I am exhausted by the time I get home from work, but I think it still captures the season.
I love the wooden box I recently bought from a antique show. The photobooks in the box are from this past year's adventures! They're so fun to look at after a long day at the clinic.
I found this vintage book of Christmas carols at my favorite antique shop, Monticello Antique Marketplace. It's so fun to  look at this beautiful collection of carols from long ago.
Two of my favorite Christmas movies, Elf and It's A Wonderful Life.
Two of my favorite holiday deserts: peppermint bark Ghiradelli Squares and Pfeffernusse german spiced cookies from Trader Joe's. I am always excited when they're available during the season.
And here is the front of my apartment. I adore the sign I bought from Monticello's!
**12/19/13 update. The day after I posted this photo, this table and decorations were all stolen from my front porch area! :( So sad that someone would do that. I really liked the wooden art and table because I found each of them at my favorite antique shops. I'm thankful I atleast have a photo to remember how nice they looked. Do I sound pitiful? Maybe. But I was so excited to decorate my outside area.
Thanks for checking out my apartment. It was kinda like having you over for tea :)
I'd love to see how you all decorate for the holidays. Check out Kiki at In It's Time for the link-up with The Circle and check out some of the other bloggers who shared their holiday homes!

    1. Thank you Jess! It really is cozy! Sad news though... The sign outside my door (as well as the vintage three-legged table that the sign was on) were stolen the other night! :( I'm so bummed. I found them at my favorite antique shops and they meant a lot to me.

    1. Thanks Angela! Sadly, it was stolen the night after I posted it! Atleast I have a photo to remember it, because I was so excited to find it when I was antique-ing!

    1. Aw, thanks Jenn!! You're very sweet! I have yet to watch It's A Wonderful Life this year. I haven't seen it in several years so I am stoked that I found it at Target recently. I am hoping to watch with the siblings on Christmas Eve!
